Traveling and photography have been my absolute passions for years. So I’m all the more pleased that I can now also offer my own photo trips and take my readers to my absolute favorite places to teach them the basics of photography.
My trips are aimed at both amateur photographers and advanced photographers who would like to apply and improve their knowledge in a small group of like-minded people. But “non-photographers” and “cell phone snappers” are also very welcome as companions, because fun and enjoyment are at the forefront of my trips. We will not only take great photos, but also marvel at the breathtaking nature, enjoy good food and simply have a great, unforgettable time together. My photo trips are also suitable for singles and solo travelers, as we offer not only single rooms, but also cheaper “shared double rooms”. What’s more, the shared hobby brings people together, so everyone quickly makes friends.
For my photo trips, I work with reputable travel agency partners who take care of the entire organization and booking process for me. I design the trips in consultation with the partners and put all my knowledge and passion into it in order to guarantee the participants an unforgettable travel experience.

Fascinating Ecuador & Galápagos
Ecuador may be the smallest Andean country, but it is certainly one of the most diverse. The legendary Galapagos Islands are considered THE dream destination for nature photographers par excellence. It is therefore not surprising that we have planned a whole week to explore this natural paradise. But the land program also includes numerous highlights. Snow-capped mountain peaks, shimmering green lagoons, mystical cloud forests and charming colonial towns characterize the country.
In addition to the Galapagos Islands, the famous Cotopaxi National Park with the volcano of the same name and the mysterious lagoon landscape and untouched nature of the Caja National Park are of course on the program. We will also travel to the Chimborazo volcano and explore Cuenca, one of the most beautiful colonial cities in South America.

Wildlife photography in Tanzania
My Tanzania photo tour is one of the absolute classics in my portfolio. I now offer it in three !!! versions with different focuses. In February 2025, the focus is on the birth of the young wildebeest and the great migration in the south, while in September 2025 we concentrate on the northern Serengeti and the legendary Mara River Crossing. The focus will be on wildlife and safari photography and the search for the “Big Five”.
Because of a request, I will also offer a specially designed trip to Tanzania’s southern circuit including the national parks Mikumi, Nyerere (former Selous) and Ruaha. This trip is primarily reserved to existing clients. If you would like to join, a telephone or zoom call is obligatory!

Mysterious Uganda, the pearl of Africa
Mysterious Uganda is one of the most fascinating countries in East Africa and was once described by Winston Churchill as “the pearl of Africa”. Despite its scenic beauty and breathtaking nature, the country has remained largely untouched by mass tourism and presents itself as a destination for true adventurers. The highlights of our trip are certainly the gorilla trekking in Bwindi and the chimpanzee trekking in the Kibale Forest.
