Then you’ve come to the right place, because on my blog Imprintmytravel.com, which I created with a lot of love and care, I not only provide you with practical travel tips and exciting travel reports from all over the world, but also put a special focus on the topic of “photography while traveling”.
Imprintmytravel is the perfect travel blog for anyone who is passionate about traveling to faraway countries and wants to take home more than just the classic tourist snapshots!
Who writes for you?
My name is Lisa, 40 years old, born and still living in beautiful Vienna. I describe myself as a chronically travel-addicted photographer with a passion. I also love nature, epic landscapes and (almost) all animals. When I’m not working on my projects in my own co-working space in Vienna, I’m usually out and about, always on the lookout for interesting places and exciting subjects.
My co-author on this blog is my brother Philipp, who – when his time allows – mainly reports on his city trips in Europe and also supports me with technical questions.

What does “Imprintmytravel” mean?
Readers who have been following us since our beginnings know that this blog originally ran under the name “Fotoreisen-Abenteuer”. We quickly established ourselves quite well under this name, but unfortunately it sometimes caused misunderstandings, as some readers thought we were just a photo travel provider. And that somehow didn’t seem quite ideal for us to position ourselves in our “Travel & Photography” niche in the long term, even though we now offer photo trips ourselves.
So we started thinking about what we actually wanted to say with our site and how we could best put the core topics of this blog – travel & photography – into words.
This was followed by days of brainstorming, lists of keywords, endless word games and after a seemingly endless process, our new name “Imprintmytravel” was born.
“To imprint” is English for “to leave an impression” and that is actually exactly what we want to do with our blog: to engrave our travels with the help of our photos and our articles and to anchor them in our memory as wonderful reminiscences.
Incidentally, we decided on an English name to keep the option of publishing articles in English open for the future. After all, you never know where the journey will take you and what might happen in the future…
Switching to our new name didn’t just have its advantages, of course, but unfortunately also the dreaded disadvantages that come with re-branding. We lost readers, plummeted in Google rankings and were confronted with stagnating fan numbers on Facebook. No wonder, as the new name first had to be learned and established, and trust with readers and followers had to be rebuilt.
In the meantime, the page has stabilized again and enjoys great popularity among readers. Within the last year, the number of hits has even doubled! We are proud of what we have achieved in recent months and are eager to continue to improve and provide you with valuable content and exciting insider tips on a regular basis!
Note: At the moment we do not offer our blog articles in English. Only our photography trips and tours have been translated because of more and more enquiries from international customers. In fact, I led my first bilingual group tour in November 2023 and it was a huge success.
